Main Purpose of the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Rubber Injection Moulding Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and day to day maintenance of rubber injection moulding machinery. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient production of high-quality rubber components according to specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up and prepare rubber injection moulding machinery for production runs.
  • Operate machinery to manufacture high quality rubber components according to established specifications.
  • Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Document production activities, including machine settings, production quantities, and any quality issues encountered.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors in a busy department to optimise production processes and achieve production targets.
  • Have an excellent attention to detail and enthusiasm in your role.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating rubber injection moulding machinery preferred but not necessary.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing production demands.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
