We have 5 sites in Dorset, 4 on the Ferndown Industrial Estate and 1 in Verwood and are currently looking for a Cleaner to work within our cleaning team who will be based at one of our sites in Ferndown although there could be travel to our site in Verwood .

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and conscientious Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine cleaning duties to a high standard, following appropriate health and safety procedures, and ensuring that all assigned areas are kept presentable and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general cleaning duties across assigned areas, including offices, communal areas, toilets, kitchens and other facilities.
Dust, vacuum, sweep and mop floors and surfaces as required.
Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, kitchens and other high-use areas.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Clean windows, mirrors, glass and other surfaces where required.
Replenish cleaning products, toiletries and other consumable supplies.
Use cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly.
Report any damage, maintenance issues, hazards or shortages of supplies to the appropriate person.
Follow relevant health and safety, COSHH and workplace procedures.
Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
Work independently and manage cleaning tasks within the allocated time.
Carry out any other reasonable cleaning or housekeeping duties as required.

Skills and Experience

Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices.
Physically able to carry out the duties of the role, including standing, bending and moving cleaning equipment.
Good communication skills.
A professional and positive approach to work.
Ability to work across 4 sites on the Ferndown Industrial Estate and Verwood

Working Conditions

The role may involve working around cleaning chemicals, equipment and potentially busy or occupied areas. Appropriate training and personal protective equipment will be provided where required.

£12.71 per hour
